Millennium Hilton Seoul

Weekdays in October: In celebration of Oktoberfest, Germany’s world famous beer festival, Millennium Hilton Seoul’s bar, Oak Room, will turn its popular Happy Hour BBQ into a smorgasbord of good eats and delicious beer. The Happy Hour BBQ buffet is offered weekdays from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

During the month of October, the buffet spread will feature schweinshaxe (German toasted ham hock), traditional pretzels, German sausages and more Bavarian delights. To quench your thirst, unlimited German Paulaner beer will be available. The price for this buffet, including unlimited beer, is only 54,000 won ($45) per person including tax and service charge.

Oak Room is a traditional English-style bar outfitted with comfortable leather chairs, a roaring fireplace in the winter and a patio overlooking the hotel gardens for when the weather is just right outside. A jovial place to meet up with friends, colleagues and acquaintances, Oak Room features an extensive bar and tasty nibbles. A live band entertains in the evenings.

Through Nov. 21: Modern Korean dining destination The Lounge at Park Hyatt Seoul celebrates the rich flavors and aromas of autumn with The Taste - Harvest Dinner, a seasonal dining promotion. In five inspiring courses, The Taste introduces delicacies from across Korea, including steamed abalone from the southwestern island of Wando, potato pancakes made with potatoes from mountainous eastern Gangwon, a choice of hanwoo beef steak or steamed halibut, rice and Sangju dried persimmon with persimmon ice cream. Abalone served is Aquaculture Stewardship Council-certified, a mark of the highest quality. The Taste - Harvest Dinner is priced at 90,000 per person, while pairings with one glass of traditional liquor Gangjang Baekseju and two glasses of wine are available for a supplementary 40,000 won per person. Guests choosing The Taste - Harvest Dinner will also be offered the chance to purchase bottles of Gangjang Baekseju for the promotional price of 39,000 won (10 percent tax included, no service charge).

It is 90,000 won per person with tax included, or 130,000 won per person with a glass of Korean liquor and two glasses of wine. Dinner is available from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul

Through Nov. 30: Tavolo 24, the restaurant at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul, celebrates the arrival of autumn with “Taste of Sea,” a Sichuan seafood promotion combining seasonal delicacies with the unique flavors and spicy aromas of mala sauce.

This season’s promotional menu features Sichuan-style seafood favorites including cold dishes crafted from fan mussels, sea squirts, abalone, white sea snails, clams, squid and conch flown in fresh from China, plus hot dishes including steamed scallops, snow crab and blue crab, as well as Sichuan specialty mala crawfish, crispy deep-fried sea cucumber and eel and huajiao eel.

Guests choosing the Taste of Sea promotional menu will also be served a bowl of richly-flavored malatang, featuring authentic Chinese-style spicy broth with vegetables and seafood, at the table.

The promotion is available at dinner time on weekdays and during brunch and dinner service on weekends and is priced at 98,000 won per person including a 10 percent tax and 10 percent service charge. Tavolo 24, the venue for this autumn’s promotion, is an all-day restaurant offering panoramic views of the historic Seoul landmark Heunginjimun Gate. Tavolo 24 serves unique Korean dishes crafted from the finest local ingredients, complemented by a diverse selection of European, Southeast Asian, Japanese and Chinese dishes to offer a truly international epicurean experience.
