Big Bang fans get flu warning

테스트

Fans of boy band Big Bang were asked to refrain from visiting members of the group at their military bases by YG Entertainment on Wednesday in order to prevent the spread of African swine fever.

“The bases that G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung are stationed at are all in regions where the African swine fever virus has been detected, and preventative measures are being put in place to stop the spread of the virus,” the agency said.

YG Entertainment thanked the group’s loyal fans - who go by the name V.I.P - for their patience in waiting for the members, but also asked them not to come to the dismissal ceremonies of the members of the boy band.

“The government has also called for special precautions, and we ask that you refrain from visiting the area to stop the spread of the virus and also for your safety,” a statement from the agency said.

G-Dragon is set to end his military service this Saturday at his camp in Cheolwon County, Gangwon, while Taeyang and Daesung will end their duties next month.

Rapper T.O.P wrapped up his duties in July.
