BTS reappears on Billboard charts

Two BTS albums have climbed back up the Billboard charts, two weeks after they returned to the album charts after a short hiatus.

On the latest Billboard update, BTS’s latest EP “Map of the Soul: Persona” ranked No. 136 of the Billboard 200 albums chart, up 13 spots from last week.

“Map of the Soul: Persona” appeared on the Billboard chart for 22 consecutive weeks before falling off the chart. The album made a comeback two weeks ago, landing at No. 84.

“Love Yourself: Answer” (2018) also moved up 10 spots compared to last week, sitting at No. 155. Last week, the album became the first K-pop album to appear on the Billboard chart for a total of 52 weeks.

BTS also tops the Social 50 chart for the 122nd consecutive week.

Meanwhile, Kakao announced on Wednesday that BTS will be performing at the Melon Music Awards on Nov. 30. The ceremony will take place at the Gocheok Sky Dome in western Seoul.
