Seo Hyo-rim to marry a food CEO

Actress Seo Hyo-rim and Napalkkot Group CEO Jung Myung-ho, the son of veteran actress-turned-cooking star Kim Soo-mi, will tie the knot next month, Seo’s agency Magiq Entertainment reported Tuesday. They are also expecting a child.

“Seo and Jung will wed on Dec. 22,” read a release from Magiq. “The two have been supporting and encouraging each other despite their busy schedules and are in a loving relationship. Based on their unchanging trust and respect, they have decided to become husband and wife.”

The wedding will be held privately, with close friends and family in attendance.

“While in the process of promising to be lifelong partners and discussing marriage plans with their parents, the two also welcomed a new life into the world,” the release added.

News of the relationship between Seo and Jung first surfaced in October, and Seo confirmed rumors shortly after.

Seo debuted as an actor through 2007 drama “When Spring Comes,” and has since starred in shows like “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” (2010) and “Master’s Sun” (2013).

Jung heads Napalkkot, which sells food products made using Kim Soo-mi’s recipes.
