Yoon Ki-chul, 57, vice president at Hyundai Department Store, has been named the new president and CEO of Hyundai Livart furniture company to replace Kim Hwa Eung.

Kim Min Duk, 52, vice president at the Handsome, has been promoted to president and CEO of the fashion brand.

“We have achieved the growth and stabilization of the company business through the experience of management officials that were born in 1950s, but we have concluded the need to rapidly and more actively respond to the new management trend,” said Hyundai Department Store Group in a statement on Monday. “The decision to embrace people born in the ‘60s in the management reflects our will to prepare for the future and set the ground for the continuous management.”
