FC Seoul re-sign defender Kim Nam-chun until 2022

K League 1’s FC Seoul re-signed a three-year contract with defense Kim Nam-chun on Monday.

With the re-signing, Kim, who made his K League 1 debut with Seoul in 2012, will continue playing for FC Seoul until the end of the 2022 season. Throughout Kim’s seven seasons in the K League, he appeared in 92 matches and scored four goals and two assists. Kim helped Seoul win the FA Cup in 2015 and K League 1 title in 2016.

“I’m thankful to the club and the fans for being able to re-sign my contract before 2019 ends,” Kim said. “I’ve experienced the K League title, FA Cup and the AFC Champions League title with the best team in Korea. It was an honorable time for me.”

This season, Seoul finished third in the 2019 K League 1 standing with 15 wins, 11 draws and 12 losses, totaling 56 points.
