Kim Jae-joong to make big return

Singer Kim Jae-joong of trio JYJ will make a long-awaited comeback as a singer with his new EP “Love Song” on Jan. 14, his agency C-JeS Entertainment said on Friday.

Kim’s new EP comes four years after his full-length album “NO.X” was released in 2016 before he began his two-year military service.

The new EP will have four ballad tracks about the ups and downs of love, including the lead track “Tender Love,” which touches on the tender feeling after a breakup.

“The song is completed by Kim’s emotional voice, which amplifies the contrast between beloved memories and the present situation,” the agency said.

Kim made his debut as a member of boy band TVXQ in 2003 and later quit the group to join forces with the other two member of TVXQ - Park Yoo-chun and Kim Jun-su - to form JYJ in 2010.

His first solo full-length album was released in 2013.
