Halsey is returning to Seoul May 9

Singer-songwriter Halsey is coming back to Korea on May 9, concert organizer Live Nation Korea announced on Wednesday.

Halsey’s concert will be held at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa District in southern Seoul, from 7 p.m., with boy band The Rose to make a guest appearance.

This is Halsey’s second visit to Korea to perform. She first came on Aug. 6, 2018, and performed at the Yes24 Live Hall in eastern Seoul in front of 1,200 fans.

Commenting on the fans’ passion during the concert, Halsey had promised to return soon.

Halsey made her name known in 2015 after her debut album sold over 1 million copies.

Her album “hopeless fountain kingdom” was No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in 2017, and her single “Without Me” in 2018 topped Billboard Hot 100.

She was an opening act for many famous artists such as The Weeknd and Imagine Dragons and was also featured on The Chainsmokers’ hit track “Closer” and Justin Bieber’s “The Feeling.”

Halsey made her name known to many Koreans last year when she appeared on BTS’s hit single “Boy With Luv,” also appearing in its music video as well. Suga of BTS joined forces with Halsey again later in the year for “SUGA’s Interlude” which is featured on her album “Manic,” which comes out on Friday.

Tickets for members of Live Nation will be come available on Jan. 22, 12 p.m., and will be open to the public via ticket seller Yes24 on Jan. 23 at 12 p.m.
