[Sponsored Report] Woongjin Coway innovates filter technology

Following the expansion of the air purifier market, air purifiers with diverse features and special filters are being introduced to attract consumers.

According to market research institute GfK, the annual domestic sales of air purifiers have more than doubled, from 700,000 units in 2016 to about 1.8 million units last year.

Due to environmental concerns such as yellow dust and fine dust, there are limits to how dramatically one can change the air quality around us.

The fact that there are no alternatives to air purifiers in managing the air quality indoors is another factor that contributes to the expansion of the market.

Woongjin Coway is leading the way with a diverse range of filters that can be used as the main components for air purifiers.

The company’s main product is the AP-1019D Coway Interior Air Purifier.

The Interior Air Purifier comes with an air matching filter service that no other company provides.

Since air quality is different from house to house, users get to choose the filter they wish to use depending on the weather and circumstances. Every two months, a coordinator will visit to change their filters.

An air matching filter is made up of 4 layers; fine dust concentrated filter, smoke filter, new house filter and a double deodorization filter.

For instance, families that live next to an alley can include the smoke filter, while clients sensitive to fine dust could include the fine dust filter.

Woongjin Coway’s wall-hanging air purifier, the AP-1519B, comes in handy with two fine dust concentrated filters developed with 26 years of filter-making expertise that not only cleans air but also deodorizes.

“We are proud to present the best experience that clients can get with one of the finest filters in the industry that will refresh both the mind and the air quality,” said an official from Woongjin Coway.
