High-speed printers released by Fuji Xerox

Fuji Xerox is releasing three fast digital multifunction printers that offer the highest definition among its existing products, the company said Wednesday.

The ApeosPort-VII C7788 series also comes with upgraded security functions that protect documents from external hacking attacks. With upgraded speed, the multifunction printers can scan both sides of 270 pages and print up to 70 colored pages in one minute.

They also come with a slot for an additional toner cartridge that automatically swaps the empty cartridge out for the new one. The machine continues printing a document as it changes cartridges.

A mobile app connected to the printers also enables consumers to print, fax and scan remotely. The machines are also compatible with Google Drive, Dropbox and Evernote via cloud.

“Our latest release can not only be used in ordinary offices, but also for those that offer professional printing services to public offices that use a lot of hard-copy documents,” said Kim Hyun-gon, a senior executive at Fuji Xerox Korea.
