[SPONSORED REPORT] Hanwha E&C finalizes relocation to Janggyo
When renovation work on the Hanwha building began in November, 2014, Hanwha E&C relocated its office to Jeongyungryun Plaza, in Yeouido, western Seoul.
But the move had no impact on Hanwha E&C’s sales, which grew 2.73 trillion won ($2.3 billion) in 2015 to 3.59 trillion won in 2018. The company also turned its deficits into operating profits with a surplus of 300 billion won in 2018.
The corporation has set the goal of exceeding 4 trillion won in sales and continuing its surplus in operating profit for the fifth consecutive year.
Hanwha E&C plans to achieve sustainable growth along with profitability by increasing its share of core businesses and securing the market share based on its mid- to long-term goals.
To achieve these goals Hanwha E&C will utilize its strengths in complex development projects to lay the foundation to become a Global Infra Developer both at home and abroad.
The corporation has high expectations that its newly launched brand Forena will become a premium housing brand.
Internally, Hanwha E&C will accelerate its digital transformation through advancements in its management systems including in IT.
Hanwha E&C expects 2020 to be a meaningful year that marks the start of its business in the renovated Hanwha Building and sets the bar high for the decade to come.
