Brown Eyed Soul leader to marry

Brown Eyed Soul leader to marry Singer Jungyup, the leader of veteran ballad quartet Brown Eyed Soul, will be tying the knot with his girlfriend next month, his agency Long Play Music said on Monday.

“Jungyup met his wife-to-be, who is seven years younger than him, at church,” the agency said.

“The wedding will take place in March with only the families in attendance.”

Jungyup first shared the news on Sunday evening with a video message posted on his official fan site, expressing his gratitude for the fans who have stuck by him over the years.

“We ask for warm love and support for Jungyup’s beautiful future,” the agency said.

Jungyup is the second member of Brown Eyed Soul to get married, following Youngjun who tied the knot in 2012.

Brown Eyed Soul debuted as a four-member band in 2003 and released hit songs including “Did We Really Love” (2003), “My Story” (2007), “Nothing Better” (2007) and “If It’s the Same” (2010).

Jungyup is known for his soft vocals, which he flaunted in his solo tracks such as “Nothing Better” (2007) and “You Are My Lady” (2008).
