Hyundai Motor Group

Hyundai Motor Group is providing its two training centers in North Gyeongsang as medical facilities to treat coronavirus patients, offering up a total of 380 rooms along with dining halls and lecture halls.

LG Unicharm, a producer of sanitary pads, donated 20,000 bottles of fresh water to Gumi, North Gyeongsang, where its headquarters is located.



Amorepacific

Amorepacific offered 8 billion won in support for store owners and partners and decided to make 200 billion won worth of payments in advance for its smaller suppliers.



OurHome

OurHome offered 30,000 water bottles and 2,000 food products like ham, packaged kimchi and ready-made meals to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association. The goods will be delivered to Daegu and North Gyeongsang regions.



Kakao Pay

Kakao Pay announced it would exempt payment commission fees for all of its brick-and-mortar store partners to lift their financial burden, regardless of the store’s size, revenue and type of treated products.



Crown Confectionery

Crown Confectionery delivered 100 million won worth of snacks to Daegu’s medical staff fighting with the new coronavirus. The delivered snack is red bean paste jelly in small packages.



Hite Jinro

Hite Jinro will exempt rents of 17 buildings that are being run by local merchants for four months from March.



SK Innovation

SK Innovation partnered with a social start-up to donate 20 million worth of bread to Daegu and North Gyeongsang. Located in Jeonju, this start-up hires elderly people and people with disabilities at their bakery. The donation comes despite the company itself having lost revenue in the wake of the virus outbreak, the company said.

11st paid 5 billion won worth of payments in advance to smaller suppliers and partners to help their business. A total of 161 companies were beneficiaries.
