Korea National University of Arts to host performances online

Students and professors at Korea National University of Arts in Seoul are hosting concerts online to bring a “hopeful and happier vibe” throughout the month starting today.

The university announced Tuesday that it will begin recording 10-minute-long performances everyday by students and professors in the music, dance and traditional arts departments and uploading them on the university’s website and YouTube channel, called “K-Arts TV.”

The first performance will be by professors Kim Hae-sook and Yu Kyung-hwa, who will play the gayageum (Korean zither), with their students.

Graduates of the university including several film directors will join the program, which will run until March 31.
