Shinhan Investment announced that its executives and employees will donate 200 million won ($162,900) to support people in Daegu and North Gyeongsang suffering from the coronavirus outbreak.



CU

Convenience store chain CU announced that it has donated about 6 billion won in the past 15 days to support franchisees and its small business partners who are suffering from the spread of the coronavirus infection.



KT

KT will sell lunch boxes to its employees through mid April, made from restaurants near the company’s office in Gwanghwamun, central Seoul. The profit generated from the lunch boxes will be returned to the owners struggling from a drop in customers due to the coronavirus outbreak. KT said it will expand the partnership to include more restaurants through end of the campaign period.



Hyundai Department Store

Hyundai department store announced it gave a total of 3 billion won worth of subsidies to 3,000 store managers working in their branded stores.



SK

SK Group delivered lunch boxes to 1,500 children affected by the coronavirus outbreak.

Most of the children live in Daegu and the Gyeongbuk region, the hardest-hit areas, and are considered at risk of skipping meals as the elementary schools have postponed the start of the new semesters.
