Dua Lipa to release ‘Physical’ remix featuring Mamamoo’s Hwasa

Hwasa of girl group Mamamoo has teamed up with British pop singer Dua Lipa for the remix of Dua Lipa’s song “Physical” (2020), her agency RBW said on Tuesday.

“The collaboration came when Hwasa gladly accepted an offer made by Dua Lipa,” RBW said. “The synergy between the two unique singers is the best yet.”

The remix version of “Physical” drops today at noon all over the world.

The two singers first worked together on the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards stage at Japan’s Nagoya Dome in December, when Hwasa performed Dua Lipa’s hit “New Rules” (2017) and Dua Lipa joined her on stage for “Don’t Start Now” (2019).

Hwasa later handed the International Favorite Artist prize to Dua Lipa, who thanked her with a hug.

Hwasa made her solo debut last year with “Twit” and has been embraced for her honest personality on TV as well as her versatile talent as a singer.

Dua Lipa has been appearing on charts since 2017 when she released her debut album “Dua Lipa.” She released “Physical” in January, ahead of the release of her upcoming album “Future Nostalgia.”

She also collaborated with K-pop girl group Blackpink for “Kiss and Make Up” in 2018.
