Ticket sales for Europe leg of BTS world tour are postponed

Ticket sales for the European leg of BTS’s world tour have been postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak in the continent, ticket seller Live Nation announced on Tuesday.

According to a statement released by the company, ticket sales that were initially scheduled to take place on Wednesday morning have been pushed to April 29 for ARMY fan club members and May 1 for everyone else “due to recent events.”

“Please note that the schedule may change depending on the situation,” Live Nation said.

BTS was set to perform at London’s Twickenham Stadium on July 3 and 4, followed by stops in Rotterdam in the Netherlands, Berlin and Barcelona in Spain.

The group changed the kick-off concert for the tour from Seoul to Santa Clara, California, after canceling the Seoul dates due to the coronavirus outbreak in Korea last month.

But Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, where it was scheduled to perform on April 25 and 26 also recently announced that it will close until further notice, putting BTS’s world tour on uncertain ground.
