Max Changmin to release very first solo EP ‘Chocolate’ on April 6

Max Changmin will make his solo debut next month, his agency SM Entertainment announced on Monday.

“Max Changmin’s first EP ‘Chocolate’ is coming on April 6 and will have six tracks, including the title track,” the agency said.

This is the first official solo release to come from Changmin, a member of boy band TVXQ, since his debut 17 years ago.

He has recorded solo tracks in the past, such as “Heaven’s Day,” (2014) “Rise As One,” (2015) “Apology,” (2015) “Closer” (2018) and “Beautiful Stranger” (2018), but they have all been included as part of the group’s albums.

Changmin debuted in 2004 with TVXQ and remained with the group when it downsized into a duo in 2010. Preorders for “Chocolate” began on Monday.
