SM Entertainment, Naver team up to launch Beyond Live

SM Entertainment and portal website Naver signed an agreement to launch the online streaming concert service Beyond Live.

“Beyond Live will not only stream concerts online, but it will also provide additional digital contents,” SM Entertainment said in a statement Tuesday. “It may involve live chats between stars and fans and other digital technology to take the experience to another level.”

Boy band SuperM will host the first Beyond Live concert on April 26, the agency said.

SM Entertainment said it will also be working with Naver to partner on Fanship, a big-data-based online platform that allows fans to create online communities to follow their favorite artists and manage members.

“We are combining the contents of SM Entertainment with the big data and technology of Naver,” the agency said in its statement.
