U.S. to Lift Anti-Dumping Measures on Korean Made TVs
The U.S. has lifted the 15-year anti-dumping measures imposed on Korean made TVs. The U.S. Commerce Department announced on November 24 that it will lift the measures on January 1, 2000. LG to Supply LCD to U.S. Aviation Firm
LG Electronics signed a contract with the world famous aviation-electronic manufacturer APC to exclusively supply TFT-LCD(thin film technology-liguid crystal display) screens used in airplane odometers for 3 years. Aramco to Buy Additional Shares of Ssangyong Oil Refinery

Letters of Credit in October the Lowest in 4.66 Years
The number of L/C (letters of credit) for exports in October recorded the lowest amount in four years and eight months as Korean companies continue to suffer from diminishing exports.
