Public Pools Open in Time for Summer

Just in time for the summer, outdoor swimming pools are now opening to the public.

People living close to Kwangnaru, Chamshil, Ttuksom, Chamwon, Ichon, and Youido areas will be lucky enough to take a dip in public pools. Hours of operation is from 9am to 7pm with entrance fees set at 1,500 won for children, 2,000 won for teenagers, and 2,500 won for adults.

If you want to go to Kwangnaru Outdoor Public pool, get off at Chonho Station (line 5, line 8) or Amsa Station (line 8). Call (02) 485-3091 for more information.

For Chamshil public pool, go to Songnae Station (line 2) or Chamshil Station (line 2, line 8), or call (02) 417-1348. Ttooksom District public pool is located at Konkuk University Station and can be reached at (02) 453-3028 for further details. Chamwon Area pool can be reached by getting of at Apkujong Station (line 3) or Shinsa (line 3) with contact number (02) 534-3263. Yoido Public pool is within walking distance of Youinaru Station (line 5) or contact (02) 782-2898 for more information. Finally, there is Ichon Area Public pool within an easy stride from Ichon Station (Korean National Rail, line 4) and for more details, please call (02)796-2233.
