'Standing Music Show' to Premiere in Korea

The Standing Music Show, presented by Cable TV channel Music Network, will debut September 7. The show should appeal to music fans who are looking for something new.

The show will offer audiences the special experience of standing in the pit just below the concert stage as their favorite artists perform, enabling them to more actively participate. Spectators will be part of the action, similar to the way concerts are staged in most western countries.

Performances will be filmed at Namdaemun Market's Mesa Pop Concert Hall every Thursday. Shows will air on Sundays.

The host of the Standing Music Show will be famous comedian Nam Hee-Seok. On the bill for the premiere program are Cho Sung-mo and Lee Jung-hyun, among others.
