The companies, including joins.com, recently launched Cyberfree 21, a social organization geared toward helping children.
The coalition of companies will initially provide Yonsei Medical Center with more than $40,000. The funds will go toward operations for the 50-60 needy handicapped children.
Additionally, for every new member joining Cyberfree 21 on the Joongang Ilbo homepage, ₩100 will be donated to the fund. Cyberfree 21 hopes to gather more than $86,000.
