It has recently been revealed that Ecuador, Chile, and Nigeria will also be represented in this event, so interested spectators will be able to see many different kinds of rare plants from Africa and South America.
Filipino orchids, a rare tropical jungle plant, will be exhibited for the first time in Korea. These orchids display scores of palm-sized flowers with purplish brown spots when they are in bloom.
During the first two days of the flower festival, only professional horticulturists will be admitted. This restriction is meant to encourage import and export between various countries.
