3 Brothers to Serve as Officers

Three brothers, each seperated by only a year, will all serve concurrently as officers in the military.
Chung In-shik,23 years old and the youngest brother, received his Second Lieutenant rank at the 48th Air Force Academy graduation on March 17 joining his two older brothers as a commissioned officer. His oldest brother,Captain Chung In-chul (25), is a F-5E/F pilot at Kangnung Combat Air Division while the middle brother, First Lieutenant Chung In-sung (24),is a platoon leader in the army's engineering division.
The youngest of the brothers has been dreaming of being a pilot since he started high school. He says he became a pilot because he envied his brother when he came home on weekends with his uniform on. Second Lieutenant Chung followed his brother's footsteps by entering the Air Force Acadamy three years later, and today he received the Minister of National Defence Award.
As children the three played soldier games, and their neighbors always referred to them as the 'brave brothers', proving that they were destined to become soldiers.
The mother of the brothers, Lee Young-ja said, "After sending all my sons to the army, it's feels like something is missing around the house." But she added that with a lot of men trying to evade the draft, she's very proud of her sons.
