A Sermon for Buddha's Birthday

Buddhist priest Haeam of the Korean Buddist Chogye Order gave a sermon on May 3, celebrating Buddha's May 11 birthday: "I hope that wisdom, blessings, and glory will prosper, not only in Korea, but all over the world."
Haeam also stressed the importance of harmony, saying, "As Koreans, we have to cultivate togetherness, seek true harmony. We must overcome regional antagonism in order to create peace on the Korean peninsula which will advance unification."
