Ahn"s Story to be Scored

Ahn Jung Kun has long been regarded as a national hero and martyr for his assassination of Japanese leader Hirobumi Ito in Harbin, China during the Japanese colonial period. Now his life will be displayed on film in a new joint Korea-Japan production.
Takao Ogihara, a Japanese entertainment production representative, asserted on April 1, 'We have agreed on a jointly-produced film with Korea's Jimi Film Production Co. and the details will be announced soon.'
The director will be Hiroshi Shima(57). He commented, 'It will not be a simple historic matter but Ahn's patriotism together with a real portrayal of Japan's situation at that time.'
Filming will begin in July and should be completed sometime in October.
