'Bichumi Art Festival' Invites Young Artists' Work

The '20th Bichumi Art Festival,' sponsored by Samsung Life Insurance and JoongAng Ilbo, is requesting that students submit their drawings by April 8. The drawings will be submitted to the preliminary competition from which the finalists will be chosen.
The 'Bichumi Art Festival,' the biggest art fesival in Korea, is open to students from preschool to high school levels.
Starting this year the upper-grade elementary school students, junior high school students, and high school students who receive 1st and 2nd places in their division will win the chance to go to Europe for eight days and tour European art galleries.
Students are asked to submit their drawings to the nearest office of the Samsung Life Insurance Co. Ltd, or call to the Head Office at 02-751-8484.
