'Break!' Comes to Seoul

Spot lights, audiences, and of a singer, all that is needed for a great show, or is it? Doesn't it seem like something crucial is missing for an truely exciting show? We need back-up dancers. Imagine how dull the show would be if there were no back-up dancers performing with the singers.

Now, there is a chance to see these performers in the spotlight. The dance performance, 'Break!' will feature many great dancers who have been working with famous musicians like Madonna, Jannet Jackson, and Whitney Huston. This show will be in Seoul Olympics Stadium from September 9 to 17.

The performance 'Break!' started receiving attention off Broadway and became an internatinally well-known production after their performance at the Edinburgh Festival this year. 'Break!' is one of the non-blockbuster performances that is popular on Broadway. 'Stomp,' a non-verbal performance in which the artists use motions and sounds to tell their story, and 'River Dance,' featuring Irish dancing, are some of the other non-blockbuster performances that have become internationally well-known shows.
