British Period Films to Be Shown Sept. 14-18

The 4th annual British Film Week, organized by the British Council Korea, will start Tuesday at the Korea Film Archive, located in the Seoul Arts Center in southern Seoul.
The movie event, with the theme of 'British Period Costume Dramas', will highlight five of the country's period movies through Saturday.
'The Tichborne Claimant', which depicts a court battle in 19th century England, will be shown on Sept. 14, 'Emma' on Sept. 15 and 'Swept from the Sea' on Sept. 16.
'Keep the Aspidistra Flying', a romantic comedy based on George Orwell's classic novel of the same name, will be screened on Sept. 17 and 'Elizabeth' on Sept. 18.
With the exception of 'Emma' and 'Elizabeth,' the films have never been seen by Korean audiences before.
The films will be shown at 7 pm on weekdays and 2 pm on Saturday. Admission is 1,000 won.
