A 10 year old female composer has appeared, and comparisons to Mozart are inevitable.
Kim Seo Yoon a student at Ulsan Mooguh Elementary School, has composed a work titled 'Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer Night for Symphony' was selected to be staged at the Seoul Music Festival and performed by the Korean Symphony Orchestra on October 12.
Kim's father Kim Kyu Nyun, who is a professor at Ulsan University, lived in Russia in 1995 and taught her the violin and music composition.
The precocious girl has received an invitation from the prestigious Curtis Music Shool in the United States.
Child prodigies are not unusual in instruments like the violin, piano, and cello, but it is very rare for composition.
