Confucians Sue Author for "Anti-Confucian" Book

Confucian scholars have referred an application to sue the author of 'To Save Our Nation, Confucius Must Die', Kim Kyong-il, to the prosecution for libel.
According to the written accusation by the members of the Confucian organization 'Sungkyunkwan', the author Kim, who is a professor at Sang Ji University, allegedly holds Confucius in contempt and slanders Confucian scholars in his book.
In addition, the complainants say that the writer uses extremely vulgar language when referring to the so-called 'teacher of humankind' instead of critisizing Confucianism from a scholarly perspective.
The professor Kim should be punished harshly for the immoral crime, Confucians urged.
