Cyber Baduk Club Takes OffWorld Cyber Kiwon Company, (www.cyberkiwon.com) in association with the Korea Baduk Club, held an opening ceremony in the Grand Ballroom of the Intercontinental Hotel, Seoul to celebrate the official launch of a new website dedicated to aficionados of the game worldwide. Baduk is the Korean version of the Japanese board game 'Go'.
The founder of World Cyber Kiwon Co., is none other than the famous computer science professor Sung Ki-soo. In his speech to those atttending the opening ceremony Sung commented that, "By combining baduk that comes from sound minds and the Internet-the revolutionary product of the digital world-we shall open up a whole new world of Internet baduk that goes beyond race or nation."
