Environmental Management Agreement Signed in Ulsan
On April 19, the Nakdong River Environmental Management Office (NEMO) and 128 companies in the Ulsan area signed an agreement on environmental management in the region.The city of Ulsan will require 238 work places to install pollution-control facilities by June, 2001.
The city will also set up an evaluation board composed of representatives from civic organizations and major companies, to reform sewage disposal and other important issues.
