Flights Between Tokyo and Seoul to Increase From April 1

The number of flights between Seoul and Tokyo, typically a busy route, is expected to increase from April 1.
According to the Korean and Japanese Ministries of Construction and Transportation, flights will be able to take off and land at Haneda airport in Tokyo from 11:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the afternoon. Previously, Haneda airport was utilized exclusively for domestic flights.

Prior to the decision to open Haneda airport, there was a great deal of concern regarding the 30 percent increase in Japanese travelers to Korea.

According to an official from the Korean Ministry of Construction and Transportation, the number of flights will increase again from July.
