H.O.T to Star in Korean-Japanese 3-D Film

Korean pop group H.O.T will star in a three-dimensional cyber movie to be co-produced by Korean and Japanese production companies.
A source at Intzfilm, in charge of the publicity for the film, said on January 30, 'My-net Korea and Sirokumi, which agreed last October to make a film starring H.O.T, have recently started work on the movie.'
The producers plan to attract capital from netizens throughout the world for the production of the film entitled 'Age of Peace'. The plot of the film concerns a galactic soccer game in the year 2200.
H.O.T members will participate in the soccer game and win the contest.
The Korean and Japanese production companies will each invest 3.5 billion won (about $3.07 million), while collecting extra investment from netizens via Intzfilm's Internet homepage at www.intzfilm.com.
Investors, who can send a minimum of 50,000 won, can give their opinion regarding the plot of movie, see scenes from the filming and will receive part of the earnings from the film.
A source at Intzfilm said, 'We are expecting that many people from across Asia will invest in our project, as H.O.T members are very popular in Japan and Hong Kong, and popular Japanese singers will also star in the film.'
'Age of Peace', which will be completed by May, will open to public in the two countries in July and will then be screened in foreign countries from December.
