Inchon Subway Users Can Use Seoul Passcard
Published: 04 Jan. 2003, 18:50
Starting April 8, citizens of Inchon will be able to access the subway with the same passcard that is used in Seoul.
On April 4 the Inchon Rapid Transit Corporation announced that it has finished installing the passcard system in all of the city's 22 stations. This system will enable people to pay with credit card as well as the passcard. This is made possible with the cooperation of the Seoul Bus Transport Association, BC, Samsung, KEB (Korea Exchange Bank), and LG.
Right now, however, the Inchon City Buscard cannot be used in the subway because the Inchon Bus Transit Association and the Metropolitan Railroad Subway Organization have not yet discussed the matter.
