KOREAMERICAKOREA Exhibition Starts May 26

From May 26 to August 6, an art exhibition entitled 'KOREAMERICAKOREA' will be held at the Artsonje Center in Sokeok-dong, Seoul. The event is being sponsored by JoongAng Ilbo, the American Embassy, and the Korean bureau of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The event was co-planned by San Francisco Museum of Modern Art director David Ross and the Artsonje Center. Works by 11 young Korean artists working in the U.S. will be on diplay.

Artists whose works are being exhibited include Suh Do-ho, Kang Ik-joong, Shin Kyung-mi, Kwon So-won, Min Yoon-hee, Kim Soo-jin, Carole Kim, Iara Lee, Michael Joo, Byron Kim, and Theresa Hak Kyung Cha.

There will be a symposium at 2 p.m. on May 27, on the ground floor of the Artsonje Center.
