Korean Architecture Exhibition to be Held
Published: 04 Jan. 2003, 18:08
This exhibition will consist of three sections: 'unwilling introduction of western culture and changes to Korean architecture', which reflects Korean architecture from the late 19th century to the Korean War, 'seeking the fundamental value of architecture', in which about 170 exhibits illustrate architectural developments that took place from the Korean War to the present, and 'innovative ideas for the future', in which the future of Korean architecture is imagined.
A map of Seoul's markets printed in 1956, a chronological table of Korean architecture and a slide show on architecture of the future will also be displayed at the exhibition.
