Korean Cooking Sauces Show to Be TelevisedA cooking show that will delve into the secret of making Korean traditional cooking sauces will be shown on TV.
The Educational Broadcating System( EBS) will televise the show on Korean traditional cooking sauces in its 'Cutural Center', which runs weekdays at 8:40 a.m, from April 12 to April 16.
On April 12, one of the basic materials in a variety of Korean sauces will be featured: viewers will learn how to properly steam soybeans in order to make soybean paste.
The following day, April 13, recipes for soybean sauces will be shown, and the next day how to prepare various soybean pastes by using pine needles and other materials will be aired.
The program will explain why soybean sauces mixed with red peppers taste differently according to each province, on April 15. The concluding show will feature the Korean sauce used in eating lettuce-wrapped rice.
