'Kwon Hee-ro , the Hero' Musical Hit by Hero's Affair

A theater run of the musical 'Kwon Hee-ro, the Hero,' planned for October by Chonju City theatrical troupe was canceled on September 5.

The troupe explained that, "We were planning to portray Kwon's heart-moving patriotism, but his recently revealed adulterous love affair has completely ruined the image of him as a hero."

'Kwon Hee-ro, the Hero,' which cost 110,000,000 won ($100,000) to produce, was originally slated to tour Korea and nations such as Japan and America.
