Late Kim Jeong Sook"s Sculptures Donated to Seoul City

Around 180 pieces of sculpture of Kim Jeong Sook, who died in 1991, were donated to the Seoul City Museum.
Her son, Professor Kim In Hoi of Yonsei University, met with Seoul Mayor Mr. Ko Gun and revealed his intention to donate these sculptures.
Kim was the first Korean woman sculptor to introduce the new technique of modern sculpture to Korea.
She had focused on abstract sculpture from the very start of her career and became famous for her 'Flight' series which depicted wings of birds.
