MOHW Announced the Ten Rules for Mental Health

In honor of Mental Health Day (April 4), the Ministry of Health and Welfare announced "Ten Rules for Mental Health in Daily Life".

A source from the MOHW said, "In the United States, social costs resulting from mental illness is $200 billion, 2.7% of GDP. This is 1.5 times the social costs due to cancer...Korean epidemiology is similar to that of developed countries in which geriatric diseases and mental ilnesses figure prominently."

The Ten Rules are:

Think positively, Be grateful for everything, Greet people with pleasure, Put yourself into others' shoes, Praise others, Don't be late for appointments, Always smile, Enjoy three meals a day and eat slowly, Live honestly according to your principles, Learn to accept failure sometimes.
