Many Korean Teenagers Addicted to Computers

According to a recent survey, 3 out of 10 Korean teenagers are addicted to their computers.

The Korea Youth Counselling Institute reported that 299 or 29.3 percent of the 1,302 students polled replied that they experienced withdrawal symptoms, such as nervousness, when away from their computers.

Boys were particularly susceptible to computer addiction, with 39.9 percent responding positively. In a surprising statistic, 40 percent of those polled connected to obscene or sex-related websites for 40 or more hours a week.
