Mesa Designated Venture Building

Mesa, a fashion shopping center opening this coming August in the busy Namdaemun Market area, is being designated a 'venture' building, the first such shopping mall on the Korean peninsula.

At a press conference, Mesa proudly announced that their building had been designated a 'venture building' by the City of Seoul last month after inspections were completed by the Small and Medium Business Administration.

The City of Seoul has already appointed 59 places around the city as venture-friendly integrated facilities, but this is the first ever for a shopping mall to be designated as such.

Mesa, a modern, intelligently designed building 23 stories high with nine underground floors, has fiber optic networks installed throughout, thus making ultra high-speed Internet access possible. There are even facilities to attract investors, such as exhibition halls and international conference halls where briefings and meetings can be held. Mesa is also equipped with warehouses for storage for use by fashion and textiles companies plannning to move into the building.
