Michael Jackson Arrives Monday for Concert

Superstar singer Michael Jackson arrives in Korea Monday for his June 25 concert 'Jackson and Friends' at Chamsil Olympic Stadium.
According to Cheil Communications, Jackson's agent in Korea, he will be arriving in Seoul by Korean Air from Los Angeles with his entourage of trainers, secretaries, coordinators, and of course lawyers.
It is his fourth trip to Korea following October 1996's first show, November 1997's foray on an investment deal in Muju resort area that never came about, and President Kim Dae Jung's inauguration ceremony in February 1998.
Jackson and staff will occupy 100 rooms at the Hotel Shilla including the exclusive 'Presidential Special' suite.
Other performers such as Elizabeth Taylor, Mariah Carrie, the Scorpions, and Boys to Men will be here on June 23.
Special equipment for the event will bring 400 tons of cargo, but the atmosphere has been somewhat dampened as only 27,000 reserved tickets out of 57,600 total seats have been sold. Premium seats are going for 257 dollars, making it the most expensive performance ever in Korea.
