Michael Jackson Concert Set to GoWorld popstar and noted eccentric, Michael Jackson, rehearsed with 15 groups for nine hours Thursday for the mammoth charity concert that takes the stage at Seoul's Chamsil Stadium at 7:00 pm on Friday.
Mariah Carey did not join the rehearsal as she is scheduled to arrive Friday morning.
Cheil Communications, the Korean promoter for the event, said that 35,000 tickets were sold as of Tuesday and most of the tickets are expected to be sold before the concert kicks off.
If those tickets sell out, 50,000 people will join the concert. About 2,000 tickets were sold to foreigners, mainly Japanese and Southeast Asians, Cheil said.
