Mobile Internet Service Appears in Universities

On March 20, M-Commerce, a mobile phone marketing company established by Hanaro Telecom, announced that it is to launch a mobile phone Internet service at universities all over the country, starting with Sookmyung Women's University on May 1.
The new service allows students to access all kinds of university information, such as announcements, bulletin board news, and club notices, through their cell phones - information formerly accessible only through PCs and print handouts. The service is available to subscribers to any company's mobile communication system - as long as their handset is Internet-enabled.
