"Nanta' Theatre to open in May
Performance planner Song Seung-whan said on 'Kim Gi-pyong's Talk & Talk' on the Q Channel that he will open a theater sometime in May which will focus only on Nanta.Nanta is an attractive mix of different musical styles including Samulnoli, a kind of Korean traditional percussion performance. Nanta was a hit at the Edinburgh Festival last year and in its tour of Japan. It has come to be considered Korea's representative performance and the group will begin a ten country tour in May. They will perform in the U.S.A., England, Australia, and Taiwan.
