National Geographic To Be Shown On Cable TV

Starting in May, Cable TV's Channel Q will broadcast two National Geographic documentaries every day. Two types of documentaries will be shown - 'Wild' and 'Special.' 'Wild' documentaries focuse on the life cycles of rare animal species all around the world, while 'Special' documentaries discuss diverse human cultures and present the journeys of world famous travellers.

The first episode, to be aired at 8 p.m. on May 1, is entitled 'A Special Journey in Time' and is a montage of the many photographs and films captured by the National Geographic Society between 1965 and 1999.
